The Wisconsin DNA Chapter (#15) was first chartered on May 10, 1990. Some current chapter members have been active in the DNA since before the charter date. While meetings and conferences were held by the Wisconsin DNA on a regular basis from 1990 through 1997, leadership stumbled causing the chapter to become inactive. From 1997 to 2004 many members remained active in the National DNA and were active at local and state level with patient and peer education. In July 2004, the chapter was once again issued. Regular yearly conferences have been held since 2004; thanks to a group of dedicated Wisconsin DNA members who volunteer their time and talents. While our membership is spread across the state, our chapter is committed to ongoing education to benefit our patients, our peers and our communities.
The WI Chapter of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association facilitates and guides the education of the membership to better serve patients and their families in Dermatology care.
