About DNA / DNA Recognition Program
Over $20,000 in awards, education scholarships and grants are available through DNA's Recognition Program. Some awards include complimentary registration and airfare to DNA's annual convention. Please mention the awards you are interested in. All applications must be postmarked before September 15 annually, unless otherwise noted in the description.
Some rules:
- You must be a member of DNA to be eligible for any of DNA's awards.
- Each DNA member may only win one award. This does not include the Intendis, Inc. Nursing Certification Grant.
- A DNA member may not win the same award 2 years in a row.
All winners will be expected to write an article for the Focus Newsletter on what winning meant to them. We also are requesting former winners to join our committee to help us decide on next year's winners.
The DNA Recognition Program is designed to acknowledge and recognize our many volunteers who have given so generously of their time, talent, and energy on behalf of our organization. Categories are broad so that every DNA member may qualify for at least one, if not several awards. The categories are:
