PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Program Purpose:
The purpose of this activity is to enable the learner to understand the anatomy and physiology of the skin and the functions of the cells in the skin.

Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this educational program, the participant should be able to:

  • Discuss the role and function of the various layers of the skin.
  • Describe key cells and the functions of those cells in the skin.
