Overview:
2013 dates and locations have been added for the Joan Shelk Fundamentals of Phototherapy Workshop!
This intensive one day training is designed for those administering light therapy under a provider's supervision. The workshop covers psoriasis and other photo-responsive skin diseases; PUVA, narrow band and broad band UVB therapy; equipment operation and metering, and other responsibilities associated with phototherapy administration. Participants who complete this workshop in its entirety will be awarded 7.0 contact hours. The next workshops are scheduled for:
- February 9, 2013 - Anaheim, CA
- April 4, 2013 at the DNA 31st Annual Convention - New Orleans, LA
- October 5, 2013 - Rochester, NY
