Many people focus on how to protect yourself and others against the harmful rays from the sun. The Community Service Award recognizes a DNA member who has provided outstanding community service through public education in connection with the care of the skin, disorders of the skin, or the effects of chronic sun exposure.

I have participated in some of DNA's community service initiatives and really enjoyed meeting new people and supporting a good cause.
