“The majority of DNA members become certified to increase their knowledge base of dermatology and obtain satisfaction both personally and professionally. ”
DNA offers members certification through the Dermatology Nursing Certification Board (DNCB), which is a member of the American Board of Nursing Specialists. Certification provides an added credential beyond licensure and represents that the RN or NP has acquired a body of specialized knowledge.
DNA provides you with the tools to prepare and pass the Certification exams and to become more confident in the workplace. You will receive certification once you meet the criteria and pass a multiple choice exam.
The certification is valid for a period of three years and can be renewed by completing contact hours in the Continuing Education Center.
