In this PowerPoint presentation accompanied by audio, Maryellen Maguire-Eisen, MSN, RN, speaks on the facts...
The Western Region Chapter of the Canadian Dermatology Nurses Association was founded on April 10, 1999, when 10 dermatology nurses from the BC lower mainland met at the Skin Care Centre at Vancouver General Hospital in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The purpose of forming a western chapter was to provide easier access to meeting events for Western Canadian DNA members. On September 20, 2000, the CDNA (WR) was incorporated under the Society Act of the Province of British Columbia. Our constitution and bylaws comply with both DNA and the Society Act. Currently there are 34 chapter members. The chapter represents the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Members work in Private Practice, Outpatient Clinics, Hospitals and Clinical Trials.
